There's this particular tire lever that I use that changed the game for me. I used to get so frustrated in placing back my tires after a flat pero nung nademo sakin ng isang friend yung Tyre Glider (bought from Pedal Lane), I was convinced haha! Parang wala pa akong nakitang similar product e. Ang ganda lang kasi ng pagkadesign and uses simple physics for you to have more leverage lalong lalo dun sa last bit ng pagkabit when it is the most difficult.

I ride in the PI, and have some 303FC wheels (sram xdr). I find the Zipp hubs to be very prone to water/moisture ingress. Much more so than any other wheels I've had. I think its their seals and end caps to reduce rotational drag. After every cleaning I make sure to leave my bike in the sun for a while to fully dry out and spin the wheels a lot. Always checking to make sure the rear wheel spins without any crank rotation. Cranks rotating is the first sign of a problem. I also never ride in the rain (hard to do, but I try), so the bearing issues I have had are only due to washing (light pressure) and moisture from the high humidity environment. I replaced all original bearings after about 10,000km due to rust and grit and high drag, and cleaned the hub body bearings a few times. I keep an extra new hub body just in case. Now run Enduro ceramic bearings. And i lightly grease the outside of the bearings, axle and end caps.

For me I always go bike shop every around 6 months for maintenance of my hub and bottom bracket. Cheaper this way rather than buying a whole new thing 😅

Hi Sean! I notice you always wear a neck gaiter. I have allergic rhinitis and every time I ride I always have stuffy or clogged nose and it’s hard to breathe and usually get headaches after or during long rides. I’m doing my 3rd Audax this weekend I wonder if the neck gaiter helps since breathing through the mouth is more efficient?
